Female Youth Ministry Coordinator
Part Time
Purpose:
This position reports to the Pastor of Youth & Young Adults and lends program support to our middle & high school ministries including mentoring of female youth & volunteers. Our Middle School (Grades 6-8) ministry meets Tuesday evenings (7:00 – 9:00 PM). Our High School ministry (Grades 9-12) meets Wednesday evenings (7:00 – 9:00 PM).

Camp Supervisor
Position Available: 1
Term: 16 weeks (May 5 – August 28, 2025)
Hours: 35 hours/week
Compensation: $18.00/hour + vacation pay
Eligibility: Must be 18 years or older
Join our Children’s Ministry Team as a Camp Supervisor and play a key leadership role in overseeing our summer camp ministry. This position is an opportunity to serve Christ by creating a fun, faith-filled environment where children can grow in their relationship with God.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-Camp Planning – Develop engaging daily schedules, activities, crafts, and Bible lessons centred on Christian themes to help children experience and understand God’s love.
- Staff Coordination – Assist in organizing, training, and mentoring summer staff, fostering a Christ-centred team environment.
- Sunday Ministry Support – Help lead NKMB Kids on Sunday mornings, teaching biblical truths and encouraging children in their faith journey.
Requirements:
- A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a passion for discipleship in children’s ministry.
- Proven leadership, organizational, and team-building skills.
- Availability for daytime shifts, Sunday through Thursday.
Programming Coordinator
Positions Available: 3
Term: 8 weeks (July 2 – August 28, 2025)
Hours: 35 hours/week
Compensation: $15.80/hour + 4% vacation pay
Eligibility: Must be entering Grade 11 or higher in Fall 2025
Join our Children’s Ministry Team and play a vital role in planning and leading Christ-centered programming for children throughout the summer. As a Programming Coordinator, you will help create a fun, faith-filled environment where kids can grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee Summer Day Camps, ensuring engaging, Christ-focused activities.
- Lead and support NKMB Kids (Wired) on Sunday mornings, guiding children in worship and biblical learning.
- Assist in organizing and running our Vacation Bible School (VBS) program (July 13-17, 2025), bringing the Gospel to life through teaching, music, and activities.
- Participate in pre-camp planning through volunteer work in June, helping to prepare materials, schedules, and ministry resources.
- Work alongside other ministry staff to ensure a safe, nurturing, and spiritually enriching experience for all children.
Requirements:
- A heart for serving in children’s ministry and sharing the Gospel.
- Strong leadership, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Availability for daytime shifts, Sunday through Thursday.

Senior Leader Position

Term: 4 weeks (July 2-4, July 7-10, July 21-24, August 18-21)

As a Senior Leader, you will play a vital role in delivering Christ-centered programming to campers, ensuring a safe, engaging, and faith-filled experience. This position is an opportunity to develop leadership skills, serve as a role model, and help campers grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Responsibilities:
Activity & Group Leadership
- Set up and conduct daily safety checks to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
- Lead assigned programming in a professional, fun, and faith-driven manner, engaging campers in meaningful activities.
- Supervise campers from arrival to departure, ensuring their safety, well-being, and spiritual growth.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized camp environment by supporting team-wide operational tasks.
- Facilitate Bible-based activities, including worship, skits, object lessons, and interactive faith discussions.
- Provide attentive care to children both onsite and during offsite field trips, creating a nurturing and Christ-honoring atmosphere.
- Mentor and encourage Junior Leaders, fostering a supportive and faith-filled team culture.
Qualifications:

- Leadership, teamwork, and communication skills with a heart for serving children and youth.
- Availability for scheduled camp dates and required training.
